One of my favorite places in Beijing is the Temple of Heaven.
The Temple of Heaven was constructed about the same time as the Forbidden City (early 1400s). Back then, the emperor would visit the temple to offer sacrifices and prayers for good harvest.
In the morning you can see people exercising, playing games, and singing.
