"Year of the Tiger" entered with a roar of fireworks. Two weeks later they finally stopped.
The first set of pictures are from my colleague's apartment on the 29th floor. We had a great view of the skyline. Some of the fireworks (explosions) were a little too close for comfort.
Some of the other pictures are from my apartment on the 15th floor. I have actually seen a couple fireworks bounce off the apartment building next to me.
Finally, one night some friends and I went out to the suburbs to set-off some small explosives. It was amazing how much we could buy for $150. These were shot from ground level.
