What I did during my summer vacation…

Over the next several weeks, I hope to post pictures with short stories of what I’ve been doing since June. With luck, I should be caught back up by the end of July.

The first week of June, I flew back to the States with the goal of seeing everything and everybody in two short weeks (I wasn't able to see everything or everybody, but it was fun trying).

First stop, Oklahoma City to pick-up Zachary. The next day we drove to Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas to see Carla’s graduation ceremonies. I am so proud of her; she completed two master’s programs in twelve months. I would not have missed it for the world.

While we were in the Ft. Leavenworth / Kansas City area, Zachary and I found time to go to Oceans/Worlds of Fun and even had lunch with Tony Wilks. We had a great time!
