Last weekend I went on a tour to Chengde. Chengde was the “Summer Resort” for the Chinese Emperor Kangxi (basically a big park with some surrounding temples). These photos are from the city of Chengde, the Putuo Zongcheng Temple (普陀宗乘之庙) ((an old Dalai Lama temple) and the Puning Temple (普宁寺) ((Temple of Universal Peace)).
Note: Yes it snowed AND Yes that is real gold (gold platted).

Great pics! You are a skilled photographer with a good eye for composition and color. Lovely temple complex too - reminds me of a place I went to in Korea once. Hope you are having a great day!
