Oakwood "Gang of Four" does HotPot

A number of people have asked me, "What exactly is HotPot?" The answer is, "I really dont know, but it tastes good."

Friday evening, three friends (Dan, Angela, and Courtney) and I went out for HotPot. We all live in the same apartment complex and occasionally get together for dinner, movies, or game-night etc.

Hot Pot 101:
Step 1. CAUTION: Items are HOT. They will burn you!
Step 2. Choose your broth / sauce (normally, we have "regular" and "spicy")
Step 3. Choose your ingredients (I like fatty beef and veggies).

"Angela does a wonderful job of ordering probably because she reads Chinese better than we do... I wonder if genetics has anything to do with it??"

Step 4. Throw the ingredients into boiling broth.

Regular on the left / spicy on the right.

Step 5. See Step 1.
Step 6. Fish out your, hopefully cooked meal with chopsticks or spoons.
Step 7. Dip it in your favorite sauce (I like sesame, [i thinks that's what it is called]).
Step 8. Eat & Repeat.

I always like the "flying noodles."
