Well, I invited a friend to come to visit me during the Chinese National Day Holidays (1-3 October), thinking it would be "perfect"; she could visit and I would not have to use any vacation days to go site seeing with her. Little did I know that Beijing would be invaded by another million or so visitors during this national holiday.
