Day 104: Busy last week, busy this week, guest next week.

On the bright side, approximately 10% of my tour is complete. Yea, just about 900 days left…but who is counting?

Last Tuesday, I was able to go see the U.S. Paralympics Team take the Gold Medal in Wheelchair Rugby (Murderball). I received some free tickets in the middle of the afternoon and invited my office mates and some friends to go watch the game. Before I went to the game, I printed off a summary of how the game was played and it only took me about 15 minutes to figure out the game. It was fascinating to see game played with so much enthusiasm.

Wheelchair Rugby can be described as a cross between; basketball, soccer, and field hockey. A goal is scored when a player carries the ball across the opposing team’s goal line. The other team does what they can to prevent the goals (lots of wheelchair crashes). It was fun and best of all TEAM USA took the GOLD!

The rest of the week was busy, busy, busy…it was so busy, I even went to work on Saturday and Sunday. What was I thinking? Monday is here and I don’t see things getting any easier until, hmm, Friday maybe?

Next week, things will definitely slow down at work (especially, since it will be the start of the Chinese National Day Holiday). We will be off work from September 30th thru October 5th. YEA! This will allow me to entertain a guest I will have in town.

Hope everyone is doing well.
