Last Sunday, Day: 54 , 3 August, a couple of friends and I joined a local hikers group, Beijing Hikers, and went on a stroll to see some ancient temples located which are located on the top of a mountain range. Sounds like fun? If it wasn’t so hot it would had been a great trip, but it was just “OK” because of the heat and humidity. The temple at Yajishan was first built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and became popular in the Ming and Qing dynasties. We were fortunate that the trail to Yajishan (the temple on the highest peak) was closed, so the hike was not too bad.
Meanwhile, back in Beijing.... Life goes on...
